a slice of white moon trembling above me

and now with an orange hate-spark
dangling from my fingertips

all I understand is the need
for the end of this want of you;

complacently tearing the scabs
from my secret heart -
they are not the mark of cuts

Venus is the only planet
that rotates clockwise,
and the nature of a man cannot be altered,
only tolerated
there are oceans of despair in this world

and I have

of sickness in health
